Its crazy to think that I have been here for almost a month now. Time seems to pass really slowly while I'm here but then I look back and realize how fast it is actually going by. Learning Chinese is pretty difficult but it is amazing how fast we are all learning it. I'm still nowhere near fluent but most of the time i can understand what my teachers are talking about. I have been learning so much here and it has been pretty great but I cant wait to get to Taiwan, sitting in the same tiny classroom for ten hours a day gets old pretty fast. But I'm almost half way done here a the MTC and I'm sure this last month will fly by.
This last Tuesday Elder Cook came to talk to the missionaries at a devotional. It was pretty cool to listen to him talk. He talked a lot about the importance of faith in our missionary work. We get to listen to lots of really good speakers and here some pretty awesome talks. One of my favorite parts of the week is choir practice. The director always chooses a pretty cool song and then he tells us a lot about the history of the song and the message behind it. Last week we did Praise to the Man which is one of my favorite hymns and he had lots of really cool insights about it.
Last week one of the elders in our district convinced us all to start waking up even earlier so we could go work out before breakfast. He has this crazy workout plan he has been having us all follow so we were all pretty sore the first few days. I thought it was kinda funny just to watch everyone as they struggled to even stand up for the rest of the day. It is a little herder waking up earlier but we have all been felling better with a little more physical activity in our day so I think we will probably sick with it for a while.
I don't have much else to say right now but I Hope you are feeling good and the you are having a great time with school, work or whatever else you are doing :)
