November 29, 2015

Hello again!

It started out on a Tuesday with a baptismal service. I have decided that one of the best feeling is to make a good friend and watch as the gospel changes their life and see them become happier more positive people. I met Ollie about three months ago and in that time I have seen him make lots of big changes and he has been a good example to me of acting in faith and trusting in the lord.

On Friday our mission had the opportunity to be taught by Elder Stevenson from the quorum of the Twelve. It was a great experience to here him as he talked about his call to the Twelve and listen as he taught us the importance of exact obedience and hard work. He taught us many other things such as how to effectively promise blessings and the power of a testimony. I could write pages and pages about what I learned but I don't think anyone would want to read all of it. But it was a great experience and i'm looking forward to applying all of the things that I learned.

Now for some random pictures......

this is a typical Taiwanese desert. It is ice with black sugar water, red beans, green beans, black beans, some noodles and a few different kinds of jelly stuff. The fact that I am starting to enjoy things like this is starting to worry me...

the love river at night, a pretty big tourist attraction in our area.

this is a good friend of mine, Hed. He joined the church about four months ago and right now he is preparing to go on a mission. He is great.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great week!

我愛你們!
