Hello everyone!
Like always this has been a pretty great week in Taiwan. The
weather has cooled off to the point that I no longer instantly start sweating
the instant I walk out the door. In a few weeks it might bee cool enough that I
can wear a jacket. I love it!
This Tuesday we were at a
zone training meeting when the zone leaders were informed that the missionaries
were going to be in charge of a steak Christmas fireside in just s few days.
None of us had any time to prepare anything right then so we all agreed we
would show up to the fireside an hour early and try to figure something out. so
we all showed up to the church last night with Santa hats and a few traditional
Christmas chorals. We were able to throw something together real quick and I
think it actually turned out all right. Just imagine a Christmas themed primary
program with a bunch of missionaries instead of kids. We sang some Christmas
carols and hymns, in between the songs we all took a turn speaking for a few
seconds bearing our testimonies our sharing our families Christmas traditions
and somehow a few elders managed to throw together a small band and played
little drummer boy. I'd say it was a success.
I'm getting super excited for Christmas and I am super exited I
will get to spend it as a missionary of Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful for
everything you all do for me and I hope you all have a great Christmas season!
