Hello!
This week has been a little slow again, I feel like there
hasn't really been anything that has changed at all these last few weeks and
its starting to get a little old. We don't know why but we are still having a
hard time finding anyone that is willing to listen to us. hopefully we can find
a few more this week. It has also started getting really hot again, just one or
two more weeks and we will probably be back into full blown summer. but that
also means mango season so its not all bad.
I really loved this conference. I forgot to bring my notes
with me and after 10 hours of conference I'm still a little unsure of who said
what but there was a lot that I really liked. There was one story that really
stood out to me, the story of the two fishing boats that sunk while everyone
else was just sitting around a table disusing ideas instead of getting out and
helping. I feel like this is a problem I have experienced a lot on my mission
and lately I have been doing my best to immediately jump into action and trust
that the lord will provide a was as long as I'm doing what I can. I also feel
like this conference had a very strong theme of mirage and families. There is
another Elder in my district that will be going home in a few weeks . Last week
he was telling me he doesn't want to get married for at least a few more years
but there were multiple times someone in conference said don't wait to get married
when you get back from your mission. So that kinda ruined his post mission
plans. It was a little funny to watch his reaction.
I'm sorry I don't have much more to say, hopefully this week
is a little more eventful.
