This was another pretty great/crazy week. I got to my new area and it is very different from my last one. When I got to my first area I was amazed at how many people there were. they seemed to be all over the place. There was a different house every 15 feet down the road always people out on the street. But as I was there longer I started to realize that this place was not as populated as the rest of Taiwan.
My new area is pretty small geographically but there are so many people here. there are tons of huge apartment buildings and not as many houses because there is no room for them. There are always hundreds of people on the road and there are countless people to talk to at every street light and around every corner. The Ward here is also very different here. It is much larger and we actually have a church building to meet in. For the first time in over six months I had sacrament meeting in a chapel full of pews and a real podium and microphone. It felt very strange. I'm still getting to know the area, I haven't been here very long, but so far I absolutely love it.

Since getting here I have met so many different awesome people. My first Sunday here I was surprised to see that my companion and I were not the only two Americans in the building, there was also another couple, the Dewitt's. I was a little curious so I talked a little with and they invited us over for dinner. While at dinner we were talking and I found out that they are also from Minnesota, only about 15 miles away from where I lived. It was very strange to talk to someone from where I live. Usually When I introduce myself to someone they ask where I am from and unless I answer with California or New York they have no idea what I am talking about. As I talked with the Dewitt's they knew the exact town I was from, they knew some of the people in my ward and Brother Dewitt actually served his mission and was companions with someone i know from back home. For the rest of dinner time they told some stories from their missions and we shared lots of storied about the Minnesota winters.
This place is awesome and I'm really looking forward to these next few weeks. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures this week, It has been raining a lot and its easy to forget about when I'm focuses on the work, But I promise I will send a few next week!
You are all awesome and I love you all!
